Instrumental Music Registration Form

2023-2024 School Year Registration

Instrumental Music instruction is available to all Meriden Public School students in grades 4 through 12. All elementary and middle school parents/guardians interested in having their student participate in instrumental music must sign-up using the registration form below. For more information on instrument rental or purchase options, please click here.

Please note that the payment discussed below is for the rental of a district instrument. There is no cost for participating in instrumental music unless you are renting  an instrument from the district. If you are obtaining an instrument from a music store or other means, simply register and you are all set!

Instrumental Rental:

Please note that instrument rental fees now include the price of student method books necessary for instrumental lessons.

Please also note that there are need-based fee reductions for those who qualify.

Percussion Requirement: Students interested in playing percussion need to purchase a bell kit and drum pad combo set. These sets are available online and through area music stores. Examples of these combo sets can be found on our website.

We wish to rent an instrument through the school system for the coming school year. We understand that there is a fee of $70.00 associated with this rental and all fees are due prior to the start of the school year. We also understand that there are limited quantities of instruments that are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
