CMEA
The Connecticut Music Educators Association Information
CMEA is a professional organization dedicated to music education in the State of Connecticut. In addition to professional development for teachers, CMEA offers performance opportunities to students through regional and state-wide audition and concert festivals, known as "Regionals" and "All-State." Meriden is a member of the CMEA Southern Region. There are separate festivals for middle and high school students.
